How many
follow-ups
is too many?
You wrote the email. Then the follow-up. Then the follow-up to the follow-up.
Easy Reply puts 2–4 clickable answers inside Gmail. Less work for them. Less chasing for you.
Worth a quick chat?
Thought this might be relevant.
Just following up.
In case this got buried.
Me again.
Still relevant. Still no answer.
Three. Textbook. Also where “just circling back” enters your vocabulary.
Emails two and three only exist because email one asked for a paragraph. Ask for a tap instead and most of your sequence becomes unnecessary.
- Read your email
- Still necessary
- Decide what to say
- Offer honest options
- Write a reply
- Tap an answer instead
- Find another website
- Stay in the inbox
You still need a relevant email. We didn’t fix that part.
You’re the
prospect now.
Read the email. Tap the honest answer. Confirm it.
No typing. No account. No new tab.

A fast no
is a result.
Silence is a loop you chase for six weeks.
A yes starts a conversation. A not-now gives you timing. A no lets you stop writing “just checking in”.

less work.
Replying costs a prospect more effort than ignoring you. Remove the blank reply box. Keep the honest choice.
Nothing to compose.
They choose the answer that fits instead of finding a polite way to say it.
Nothing to sign into.
No recipient account or extension. No form or scheduling page to visit.
A no is allowed.
“Not a fit” is useful. A forced yes-or-yes question isn’t.
The email still has to be relevant.
Friction goes down. Reply rates are not guaranteed. Timing, relevance, and your question still matter.

The reasonable
objections.
What it does. What it doesn’t. Where the answer actually comes from.
Why am I asked to sign in to Google again?
Being signed in to Gmail does not authorize Easy Reply. First-time senders complete a separate Google authorization. In v1.79, its modal stays over your Gmail compose window; setup does not fully take you away from Gmail. Your prospects do not need this setup.
Where is Easy Reply in Gmail?
Look for the small lightning-bolt icon in the Gmail compose toolbar. Use it to add 2–4 reply options. If you are prompted to authorize Google, complete the modal over compose, then continue writing your email.
How do I add one-click reply buttons in Gmail?
Install Easy Reply in Chrome on desktop. Complete Google authorization in the modal over compose, then use the small lightning-bolt icon to add 2–4 answer options. When your prospect clicks and confirms an answer, Easy Reply sends a notification in the thread.
Can Easy Reply increase my cold email reply rate?
Easy Reply removes the need to write a response by giving prospects ready-to-click answers. That is one way to reduce reply friction, not a guaranteed increase in email response rate. Relevance, timing, and the question you ask still matter. Measure replies and positive replies separately to see whether it helps your outreach.
How do I get prospects to reply without writing a long answer?
Ask one clear question and offer short, honest choices. For a meeting request, try ‘Yes, let’s talk’, ‘Not right now’, and ‘Maybe next quarter’. Include a real no or not-now option. Easy Reply puts those choices inside your Gmail email so prospects can click and confirm instead of typing.
Can I install Easy Reply on my phone?
Install the Easy Reply Chrome extension on a desktop computer and use it when sending in Gmail. If you are reading this on your phone, open easyreply.ai in Chrome on your computer to install. Recipients do not need to install the extension to answer.
Is Easy Reply a form or survey?
No. The answer options live inside your email. When the recipient confirms a choice, Easy Reply sends their selected answer as a notification in the original thread.
Does the recipient need Easy Reply?
No. They do not need the extension, an account, or a login. They click an answer and confirm it.
Does the recipient leave their inbox?
No. There is no form or scheduling page to visit. The reply stays part of the email flow.
What is included in the Free plan?
Free includes 10 sends per month and 3 AI suggestions per email. Emails sent on Free also include the Easy Reply footer. Free is not unlimited.
What is included in the Pro plan?
Pro is $19 per month and includes unlimited sends.
Can Easy Reply suggest the answers?
Yes. Optional AI assistance can suggest useful answer options from the content of your email. The Free plan includes 3 AI suggestions per email.
Does Easy Reply send from my prospect’s email account?
No. Easy Reply sends the notification from noreply@easyreply.email. A click records the prospect’s selected answer; it does not send mail from their account. Do not assume a notification supports replying directly to the prospect unless it has their address in Reply-To.
Where does the answer go?
A threaded notification lands in your inbox, sent by Easy Reply from noreply@easyreply.email. It contains the prospect’s selected answer; it is not an email sent from their own account.
Try it on ten emails.
Decide from there.
Recipients don’t need a plan. Or an account. They’re just answering your email.
Less “just checking in”.
More actual answers.
Give them an easy way to say yes. Or no. Both beat another follow-up.
